I sold my crx and it had a 1g bov on it and it was quite as ----, I dont want anything crazy loud or expensive for my new hatch but something louder than a 1g. Anybody happy with there ebay knockoff valves? Maybe a greddy style? or are they the ssautochrome of bov's :P

 

I've got a XOXO Greddy Type S bov and it's an exact copy inside and out since I had a real one to before. For half the price it's worth it. I've used a couple of the ebay bov and never had any problems with them. Never used a ssauto but don't see how you can mess up a bov. The Monza clamp on style are nice and cheap. not too loud and look good.

 

I've got a knockoff turbo xs RFL. It has 2 horns instead of one, and doesnt sound anything like the RFL but I love it anyways. Works good, sounds good.

 

a friend of mine bought a greddy type s knockoff from ebay for $80 and it looked and sounded just like mine, we even took it aprat and it was the same. i would buy one if i needed one

 

what does the greddy one sound like? I seem to like that one best.

i have this one, nice solid swoosh, but I wouldn't mind going to something a little more sharp and chirpy like the sound above.

 

greddy type s is fun. makes buying a bov worth it or i'd jus use a 1g.

 

I bought an HKS SSQV knockoff for $90 shipped

everyone so far has said its the exact same sound as a real hks for 1/3 the price
