another turbo car on the road! LOTS OF PICS (56k.....why try?) *FIXED*
well one of my buddies has been dreaming of turboing his car for about 2 years now sence he road in my turbo ZC, but hasnt gotten the funds to turbo his ride (he is married 
) and i think he was a little affaid of turboing his B16A...well now he has a beater *** HB (or 'snatchback' as it is called) that he wouldnt be too pissed about blowing up and would still have a car to drive...
damn near every part on this car he got for free! lots he got from his old job, trades for ----, etc...
specs:
90 Civic Si
SOHC ZC motor
TurboEdit 2.0 fuel management
DSM 450cc injectors
DSM BOV
HF manifold....highly modified
Garrett T3 .42/.48 turbocharger
probly some other ---- too......its not my car so i dont know :P
the beast that is getting turboed
his ---- all mounted and ready togo
his ghetto little downpipe he made...its just to get him to the exhaust shop
we couldnt get the wastegate to clear in either direction...so we are going to use the spring...
and his 90 PM6 that i modified for him

car still needs some tuning...and his ------ speedo fixed! the turboedit launch control works off the VSS...meaning if the speedo dont work then the car wont go above 4K (or whatever you set it at) and he forgot to meantion that it wasnt working. car pulls nicely after 4500rpms...but it does a nice spudder thing before that, needs some ignition tuning it seems retarded...alot...

where did you hook that spring onto?
i was just reading jeffs writeup on a springloaded flapper instead of wastegate,
but I have to wonder.. where the ---- do you attach the other end of the spring?
and then if you want to adjust the tension, dont you have to find another spot farther away, or closer?
anyways, cool setup.
turboedit sounds interesting,
I was going to go smc+ with my setup, but i'm beginning to think that one of those free ecu mods like turboedit or uberdata would be even better.
