Default another smoke mystery thread, help!

ok, my car smokes like a bastard when i'm not on the throttle, so when i'm cruising at highway speeds it's fine, clear as day and not a drop being burned, but when i let off, the damned thing smokes like crazy, it's embarassing, when i shift it puffs a bit, but goes away as soon as the throttle comes back in..

anyone have any idea why this would happen? could it be the seals in the turbo? or something else?

What color smoke is it, and what are you using for fuel management?

the smoke is blue, running 2-3lbs boost (the car hasn't seen any real boost yet at all due to the smoke issue, i was driving it like a granny.)no fuel management yet, (i know i know).

the oil pressure drops quite a bit when i let off the throttle. and is only hovering around 60-70psi when i'm on the throttle.

hmmm, well it's not just from running rich. The blueish smoke is oil being burned. But to me that oil pressure sounds about right. What do you think shortyz?

my friend the honda mechanic told me that because the oil pump is centriffical it changes with rpms. so the oil pressure drop is fairly normal, or something.

weird. im thinking its seals but it should leak all the time not just when letting off the throttle..

put a needle valve in and see if that helps..

ok well that was last night, today it's just smoking all the time.
i'm thinking the seal is fucked.
:/
god damnit. now what do i do? i have to go to work tomorrow.. i pretty much can't drive it.... well i can but people choke and gag on the burning oil stench..

i could try to convert it back to stock but what do i do about the oil fittings? grr.

how much does it cost to do the seals in a TEO4H ?
