alright,here we go,
pics & all...

first I had to chip it off:


















the bad thing is about the whole thing....
I cut the wrong side,
so the outlet on the BOV was supposed to point toward the outlet on the turbo (to the intake)
I connected the bov to a vacuum source(IM)
started it up,went with 1st gear & it raised to 6-7psi very very fast!!!

I need to connect my wastegate up...it was disconnected,

The BOV sounded like a pissed off rattlesnake (supra style)
but after about 10 times blowing off...I relized that it was surging the turbo...lol
since I put the bov on the wrong way,
all it is doing is sealing the turbo hole,that was my leak...

so now I can just install my hks bov?? & be normal
(plug the vaccuum nipple on the old bov?)

o...another thing,
my dumptube is blowing out a little bit of air...hummiing like a v8 monster almost..
but I raised boost very fast?...so should I still take a look at the wg? (take it off?)
its at 3.63psi spring,I will put my boost controller on & at least hit 5psi...because that was ultra fun!

but seriously ultra scary!!...driving with no WG was a little bit ocward <~however

dude take the ---- off something is wrong with the wastegate nothing should be coming out of the dump tube unless your making boost

man...I'm having baddddd surge on the turbo,
I hooked a vacuum line to the stock bov & I get surge
& I just hooked up my hks bov & I still get surge..

I loosened it all the way,
I still need to hook up my WG & see if it works,
I was just showing my brother,

I went through 1st to 6psi then shifted & the rev just went to 6psi again,no GO....
my clutch was slipping soo bad ,it would not let me go anywhere...
this was a brand new clutch,

but what about the surging?
should I tighten the hks all the way down?

or is that the recirculation bov?
because it sounded the same,even when I put my hks back on,
the hks isnt working,

so how would I know if I'm getting surge or its the stock bov?

but I have done burnt my clutch up,
it barley wants to drive now...cant even shift without slipping...

I hooked the WG up & it works good,
opens up a little above 3psi...
then I get an engine check light,

the things a beast!

you need a check valve on your map sensor vac line for the chack engine light
