probably the first time I've seen a B7/B8 in an ED.
The car wouldn't look that bad painted and without those taillights.

yea,,I got the paint already,,,its bronze metallic
I hoep to have it painted by next month, all of the body works done,
I have stock clean taillights waiting to go in after the paint,

& yes,a basemap (chipped ECU) I know this is the best way to go
& at 1st I was learning that stuff & kinda drop back down because of the money on a wideband,
just to turbo a d15 @ 5psi....(I dunno if it was worth it or not)
then I went with a safc then aonther safc sold them,
now I'm down to a fmu/btm,,.,,
anyways,
this is just getting me warmed up,

I think on income tax I might invest into building me a motor & going serious
(I was building a z6 with forged pistons & sold it all when winter come-all I needed was the rods)

my b2 blew & I dropped in this 66k b8 & didnt know nothing about it...but I had to have one fast,

alright guys,
I just removed the bov & I still have a bov sound,
I replaced the whole pipe with my old intake pipe,

went for a drive,
I still hear the air/hiss raise higher & higher & when I shift...phhhssssssssss
it is not surging,I know what that sounds like,
this sounds dead on a BOV!

I am not getting any boost,

the turbo use to have a bov on it...
would this be somthing to do with it?
but I blocked it off,
I'll post picks of it!!!

editlet me post this on the other thread I have about the boost leak, this one has too many pictures...)

check that coupler above the manifold seems like it would have melted and coused a boost leak

I dont know which thread to post in anymore
anyways

I put a block off coupler with a hole in it,on the pipe by the throttle body,
I put the air compressor gun inside the hole,
my brother put his hand over the inlet of the turbo,
we filled it up within 1 second & there were no leaks,
we had several ppl listening for one,
from the pipe to the IM to the turbo,
there are no leaks!!!

it held air very strong

pushed his hand off the turbo a couple of times
