fmu's aint that bad =x for newer people to boost an fmu is better then nothing at all... im using a 12:1 fmu from vortec at 10 psi running 9.0 to 9.5 on an 1/8th mile track with no traction and its funn.... finish ur setup and lemme see some pics man

 

dude dont listen to these guys, 2-2.25in intercooler piping is perfect for 1.5L-2.3L engines, bigger is not always better. you did good with that choice, however, i dont like FMU's. and as for the BTM, it couldnt hurt, just dont retard too much

 

Setup looks good..fuel management could be better...2-2.25 is good for intercooler piping...I got 1.5" coming from the turbo and after the intercooler 2"-->2.5"
The compressor outlet inside diameter is only 1.5" the OD is 2"...so I wouldn't worry about it if it's the same size or a bit bigger it's ok.

 

hey man you are running 12 psi onm stock ls? damn daily driven, is it good, does ur exhaust smoke hella ? im at 9psi,at about 150k mi on engine and a lil of smoke on hard shifting and i want to bring it up, but unsure.

I want to boost more b/c im about even with them EVO 8. I just wanna beat da ---- outaa it. I not street tuned yet, just really nice tune on uberdata.

I dont like to go any leaner than 12.1 and even then thats should be the leanest spot..

 

thanks alot for those comments.I knew alot of yall wouldnt like the fmu and I personally would rather have uberdata but it sounds like some complicated ---- atleast for me cause I aint no computer genius.If it was that I could get uberdata and whatever other ---- that has to be done to the computer all together I would be more than glad to pay for it.Then I could raise the boost some more.But all that ---- about chipping and burning this and down loading that is out of my reach.
