Default Almost done new turbo setup...

This is my second turbo project on this car. First one can be found here...
https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=66088.0

It took me almost a year to get the engine built between buying parts and having time to work on it but i think it came out alright. I'm looking to make 300whp on this setup. I'm starting to have my doubts with the turbo and manifold though. I plan on replacing the cdm parts one by one as time goes on.

Here's the engine setup...

Stock Head
Eagle Rods
Vitara std. bore pistons.
ARP Headstuds
Replaced all seals, water pump, oil pump and all belts.

Turbo parts...

T3/T4 "50 trim"
Cast Manifold
Type RS Bov
CDM Wastegate
2.5'' Charge Pipes with Fernco "Gansta" couplers
Stealthmode Oil Line Kit with restrictor
DSM 450's w/resistor box
Vibrant Vacuum Manifold
Chipped P28 on a crome basemap
2.5'' Downpipe
Changed intercooler to a backdoor setup

Holy couplers!! I need to get one long pipe welded from the turbo to the exit out of the engine bay. Silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps are my first priority on this. I think it would be a nightmare finding a leak on the current setup.

Here is a vid of it running.

Took it for a short drive today. Wastegate is set on 7lbs. I babied it because it's on the basemap but it seemed to run pretty good for what it is. Planning on putting everything back together and getting it ready to be tuned.

i think those couplers and possibly that intercooler are your only holdups for 300whp. that manifold might need a little port work, but i bet it can still be done without it

quit being a ----- and just setup a basemap from xenocrons bin site.. I've been beating on my car for 2500 miles now at 10 psi with one..my basemap was for a stock GSR at 10 psi, so I just swapped the timing portion of the vacuum with stock b16 and pulled fuel in the same portion until it ran good.

Yeah i am being a -----...
I don't know ---- about tuning and don't have any of the stuff i need either. I'm either going to get it tuned by xenocron or jk tuning in carlisle, pa. I've got too much time/money into this to ---- it up not knowing how to tune.

Fernco's worked great on the cold side piping but on the hotside i would have them get all mushy when i was out blasting around....then eventually they just give out and blow through...

John Kerr, J-K Tuning.com did my chipping and tune on a previous car of mine. He is very good and knows knows alot about turboing hondas. I will be having him do all my tuning on my next project. if J-K is closer I would deff give him a call.
