oil was burning hot.. not on fire! but I would have pee'd on it for sure.

 

same thing happened to me with nylon line i had it installed 2 days, it had cut at the firewall and leaked like 3 pints into my car.., in all i spent 40$ in oil getting her back home ( like not even 1km from where i was) after that i got s/s lines from work and works great since.

 

at california dragway, tech will not pass you with nylon tubing.
good thing you went to shell.
