That is the best kind of internal wastegate, it has a valve like an external gate, not a flapper like a fifty dollar prostitute. Nice find

its an oil cooled turbo ... most of them i have came acrossed are 60 ar cold side with a 81 ar hot side

That's really wonderful and all, but that doesn't mean every oil cooled Garrett is a .81/.60 lol. His turbo is a T3. It's a .42 compressor side and should be a .48 turbine housing, but I've seen that style in .36 before too off a Peugeot from what I remember. IIRC this particular snail contains a 45 or 50 trim T3 compressor wheel and a slightly larger turbine wheel (stage 1.5?) since it's off a Mercedes diesel. These turbos are excellent for 275hp> applications and can be picked up for ~$100 all day long. V-band outlet too. Really a great turbo that people turn their noses up at because of the weird wastegate (actually better) and the v-band outlet (also better).

Wow. So this is a good turbo? It has 0 shaft play so thats a good thing also.

That blue Vacuum line. Take it from the wastegate to the manifold or vacuum manifold?
