Default Air filter

hi,
What is the best air filter for an turbocharged 1.6i dohc crx (zc engine)?
I know K&N has a great flow, but I've heard that they don't filter dust etc that good.

What is a good air filter for a reasonable price ?

who needs filters... ur car's prolly gonna blow up in less then 8 months depending on how u drive it and d series is cheap anyway. jus use screen mesh so you can get maximum spooling sound. its what everyonds using... join the trend.

I'm not planning to blow up my engine, and if it does, i'd like to keep my turbo in one piece.

Just bought a air/fuel, oil temp, oil press, boost gauges and a HKS Type-1 turbo-timer to help me with this

a/f gauge isn't gonna save your motor dude. invest in a wideband.

i also ran a screen on my turbo, but wouldnt recomend it. maybe only at the track or something. if this is a daily driver u need a filter. particals small enough the fit through the screen will eventualy eat away at ur compressor wheel, and put little nicks in it. i would recomend K&N, but if u waunt something cheap go to ebay,u can find 3" cone filters there pritty cheap.

I used a cheap foam filter for my monte as you can see in the pics.
It was €20.00 or something.
I got it from Heuts.
