Aftermarket zc pistons and rods?
Alright, im a honda noob. I use to drive a SVT focus before I got my crx. I now have a crx with a dohc zc and want to know what type of aftermarket pistons and rods can I buy to boost the motor over the 200hp mark. I will be having it tuned on chrome and I know the stock internals are only good for like 8-10lbs and 200hp. Help out a ford converted to honda noob.

for pistons you can use any D16a6 piston or any aftermarket D16A1's look into some SRp pistons or what ever brand you prefer. but make sure they are for a D series and not high compression pistons. as far as rings and what not, same size as the D16a6 ones. bearings are from a 88-89 teg.
hope i helped.

^^^^^
But doesn't running a standard a6 piston bring compression on a DOHC zc down to something l;ike 8.3:1-8.5:1. What if you want to stay in the 9.5:1 range? Wouldn't you want an a6 High Comp Piston?
And Viarta pistons. You don't even want to know how low they bring the comp on a DOHC!!!
