Default aftermarket dsm injectors into a honda... direct drop in?

hey... i know dsm 450's will work as a pretty much direct drop in... but im looking at my bro's fic 850cc injectors and the seals look quite different and im not sure if they would work... im currently looking at some pte 880s off of a dsm... will these drop right in or will li need to get a new seal set for a honda...

wtf is that suppose to mean.. im pretty seasoned here... i know the injector style is the same.. but i dont know if the seals on the aftermarket dsm's will directly drop in.. google owns.... ---- that....

just ------- do it and if it works then you can share the info.

this is homemadeturbo, not "caneveryonetryshitformethenletmeknowsoidonthaveto doanythingformyself" turbo

chances are you will be fine seal wise they may be taller injectors though.

i know on my d16a1 motor they are a direct drop in. but i hear you have to wire them to a resistor box? might try a honda forum

yeah i know my 450cc dsms dropped right in with alittle dremel action on the intake mani seals... just these seals on my brothers fic's for his dsm look completely different...

Let me guess, you used completely different seals for the Honduh install?

This is so not difficult. Even if the injector blank has been machined differently than any injector you've put in a Honda before, it can be made to fit if you man up and do it. Nobody else in this thread would have a problem after reading a DSM 450 install writeup. I bet you could find one of those through Google?
