aftermarket 14b o2 housing
im gonna buy one but i just have some questions....
1. is there going to be a diff between the one w/ a wastegate dump or the one thats tied into the d/p?
2. will it sound like ---- w/ the wastegate dumped?
newbish questions but just gettin some input....

yes
and it depends what you like i had both on my 14b and i liked both
open dump sounds sweet but fucken loud
routed to the dp you can hear the turbo and bov way better
look around there is lots of vids of both

I personally like the sound of an open dump. Kind of has a growl to it, and wakes the other drivers up a little. IMO it's not really that loud either, my b16a kicking onto hi-cam sounded louder than when I ran an open dump.

open dump is insanly loud, but its soo much fun,
whenever people are walking on the side of the road, i keep the car in boost but feather the gas just enough so that the wastegate doesnt open, and when i get right beside them slam the gas, it sound like a fucken explosion. scares the ---- out of anyone walking beside the car.
