Default Adjusting Autometer Boost Gauge?

Well my boost gauge reads like 1psi higher than it should. The gauge with the car off sits right after the little box between vac and boost. Its annoying. Is there anyway to adjust that pos?

I don't know if theres a way to adjust it, but the new one I just bought has a feature where everytime you turn the key to "on" just before you start the car it takes a reading (the split second the power is on, but the motor isn't running yet). This is how the gauge re-calibrates itself. Sorry for the fucked up punctuation. :P

My MAP sensor says 15-18psi and my boost gauge says 9-11psi, but since I'm using the AFC hack, I'd say the boost gauge is right...

How do you know your guage is off ??

Just follow your boost gauge... You can impress all your friends with running 10psi when they can only get 8 our of their motors.

Really though.. you can pull the guage apart, but will probably not get the results you are looking for. You can just clock the needle assembly inside, or you can redrill the guage face, and clock it just a little in the other direction.

P.S. If you are staring at your boost guage, you really are going way to slow.

stealthmode, are you using a mechanical or electronic boost guage?

Sounds like electronic.
