dumbest idea ever, why not jus get a new dp flange and remove the wg flap. weld a short pipe then a wg flange right off the pipe off the dp flange n have the external gate there, no new mani needed. done.

Look close at the waste gate arm, the actuator is disconnected and replaced with a spring. This set up run's a pretty solid 5psi. It spik's a bit in first gear to around 7psi.

I didn't say to get a new manifold, read the paragraph next time before you respond, you said the exact same thing I said. instead of fabricating the "extra pipe" drill a hole in your manifold (existing) and weld in a wastegate, it would be a hell of a lot easier and would not take up as much space..... :4

how do you adjust pressure? cut the spring shorter?

you can get a wastegate on ebay for like 40 bucks, and you would have a reliable setup. If you cut the actuator rod it can be dangerous to your engine if not done correctly. You don't want to risk blowing your engine,...do you?

Pull the spring tighter for more boost and looser for less boost.

Just dont be retarted and hold it floored on your first try to test the pressure, and your engine wont blow.

i stink i found a solution...

Its hard to see, but if you add washers behind the acutator mounting plate, it'll push the wg flap open more. Should work imo.
