Yes, and if you're using elbows make sure you grab the right glue.

i am going to be using elbows, and i saw that on the little tags for the piping it said "solvent attached" or something like that.....

....what is the "right" glue....do you have a suggestion, or is there only one kind?

thank you btw.

I have never seen ABS/PVC with preapplied solvent.

By the right kind of glue, I meant ABS specific glue, since PVC and ABS use two different types of glue. Also, stay away from the glue that is meant for bonding PVC to ABS, that ---- sucks.

...and i didnt mean that they were pre-applied solvents....i think what it meant was that you needed solvent to attach them.....

Ahh, yeah. The pipe might seem like it won't leak without glue, it's a pretty snug fit, but it's not pressure tight.

One of his cars is running 9/10's, with PVC intercooler piping.

ABS (Black) has a higher heat rating then PVC (White). I have been using ABS in my bumper pipes of 2 years now with not problems. Just glue it right!

you can "mandrel" bend PVC/ABS if you fill it with sand and then heat it, then you wont need tose bulky *** elbows
