High and mighty? Am I talking like I'm on some kind of pedestal. If post count = intelligence, then I supposed Junkyard Racer is freakin Yoda? Yes my car came boosted, but what does that have to do with intelligence or the amount of work i've put into it? We're building just about as much from scratch as you would on your car. I've given away most my stock parts to a couple guys I know on here for free, and will be sitting along and wrenching right along with em. If I am acting like some know it all, then that's not my intention.

I added my comment to this because he was wondering why his buddies dsm ran at 11psi, yet the WG Actuator is supposed to be set at 8. Someone responded saying there's a solonoid that controls the setting allowing it to go to 11. I said BINGO, and sarcastically threw in my lil quote as a joke. You came 2 posts later with a lil rolly eye face in what seemed to be an attempt at tellin me i'm stupid. I came back saying I was being sarcastic, and now you want me to bow to you because you have a high post count. Not happening. You can hate me, I could care less, you go on with your bad self, Focker out!

^^^does it really matter?

yeah someone already answer your previous question t25 can go as high as 8psi and the 2nd gen eclispe has it set to 12 because of it electronic boost controller. unless you have that your not going to get higher than 8psi.

It's funny how you're so quick to judge my car too. You ever seen it, ridden in it? My car has been solid. Right now it's down because I'm upgrading stuff, so obviously it has to be down for that.

If you really gotta problem with DSM's, start a DSM vs Honda thread and we can talk there. I don't have a problem with what ya'll chose as your car. It's not my preference, but I still thinks it cool and I find it interesting. I have nothing against any of it. Why can't you see it that way too? Our cars have weaknesses, so do yours, so what? If ya wanna lay it all out, then open a thread about it and we can discuss why DSM stock long block can take 3 times the boost yours can.

Otherwise, I am here to learn and help where I can with questions, and poke in with my occasional sarcasm. Not here to cause some intense drama. So relax

Dsms have no weakness but the drivetrain.Hondas are light as go carts and can fly if done right.Lol i had to say something.

^^ that like saying a that healthy man with no legs is fast as ---- if he had some legs. DSM's make HP is you just look at them the wrong way or your fart sounds a certain way but once that drivetrain gets some a taste of that power it grenades at the first chance. There's no need for a debate cause there wouldn't be one cause there nothing to debate about. I like how talking ---- about a member who has been here for quite awhile with your measly 50ish post. Have you contributed anything worth while yet besides your sarcastic remarks? I've yet to see anything. What site did you come from before here? You should consider going back to where you came from you waste of bandwidth.

What is with the DSM hate around here.

I've built turbo cars of about every make, built, destroyed, rebuilt, just about whatever you can name it with engines.

I agree, Stillnoturbo needs to chill out, but Instead of being able to admit you were acting like an *** go ahead and talk more ---- after this thead to further prove my point, .

Next if you actually read the site, it says why the boost is different right there on jeffs first project.

"Here is the T-25 DSM 2g Turbocharger manufactured by Garrett. The turbo is fairly small, I believe the sizes are .42 and .49 A/R's. It is both oil and water cooled. I used the factory fittings and just chopped the ends off to attach the hoses for the coolant lines and for the oil feed I used a brass 3 way splitter on the back of the block leading to a solid steel brake line (metric) It was the only thing I could come up with. The internal wastegate is set a 8psi. But why on stock DSM they run 11-12psi? They have an electric boost solenoid to raise it up, and run lower boost when cold
