I'm not a big Neon fan, but the project looks borderline worthwhile. Taking into account the amount of experience you'll gain from it, and what you'll be able to bring to future projects, my borderline worthwhile comment is more like a foot in my mouth... but, hell, I did say I wasn't a big Neon fan, didn't I? :-*

You're a crafty fucker. It looks like it'll turn out slick.

An M62 on a 2.2 motor does this boost wise.

1.5 -1 pulley ratio = 4 psi
2-1 pulley ratio = 8 psi
2.5-1 pulley ratio (maximum SC effeciency) = 10-14 psi.

I am making 180 whp and 210 torque at 10-11 psi on my 2.2 subaru legacy motor in third gear pulls. I am using 430 cc injectors.

What's this? a compliment? :P Ha, thanks man I appreciate it, I'm actually having lots of fun with this, now that I got the tig/plasma all set up and I just got my steel the other day, now I can start fabbing up some brackets to mount the supercharger with.
I'm thinking about ditching the stock power steering pump bracket and simply making a single bracket that will mount the power steering pump, the belt tensioner, and the supercharger all in one. We'll see what happens.

yeah I'm definitely learning quite a bit on this one, more so than the old turbo setup even. and I'm having more fun because it's such a challenge to make everything fit and work properly.
For management I'm using the Megasquirt system. Fuel only at this point, I'll try to get that worked out first, then go with spark management later. I'll also be using SRT-4 stage 1 injectors. Not sure what I'm going to use for a wideband yet, any suggestions?

I should have another update ready for you guys after this weekend.

Looks great! I always find myself reading these thread but not replying. The project is insane! Looks like it'll turn out well. I'd say good luck with it, but it doesn't look like you really need it :P

Yeah, that was a compliment. I don't drop them on cookie cutter solutions that chimps can come up with unaided.

I have a 2.5-1 pulley ratio going on with my setup, which is maxxing out the efficiency range of the M62. Once I fix all the boost leaks (I didnt realize I had so many till I pressurized the system!!!!) and fix/ replace the outlet from the supercharger to a 2.5" one, I should be making 15ish psi. Which on my AWD system is good for about 240-250 whp since each psi of boost is worth about 12.5 whp for me.

These superchargers are awesome!!!!
