Those cheap foam filters like that can colapse and get sucked in under boost and it looks like your IC piping might have to hug the frame more otherwise your gonna have fitment problems w/the bumper.

Its north c. blue and white. I'm going to take the blue back to black. Its only spray paint. a enamal wetsanded not buffed. I think it may have cost $60 to paint the whole car.

I love it when everyone gets all bent outta shape over this lil car. I took 2 wrecked 5th gens, and a wrecked 93 teg, built this, sold excess parts on ebay paid for the cars and had $1400 left over. How much money do you all spend on factory jap replacements? I mean im not sporting a shitty fiberglass body kit, no wing, no tint, no stickers, no stripes. I happen to like the lambo doors but they are being removed. They are sold, I doubled my money.

About the ssautocrap, I understand they sell junky *** hilljack parts. I also don't give two *****.

Would you pay $750 for the b18 engine, tranny, and turbo kit? I would and did.

Cheapest 14sec car I know.

Eat it, I've dreamed of owing a turbo charged Honda sence 97' I got it and understand that I might have to sink $100 a month to keep it boosted replacing the crappy ss auto chrome ---- piece by piece. But I can say I have fun thrashing the ---- and am not out any money. If it last for one month @ 10 psi, It will be well worth the money. Its a ------- junky *** civic for christ sakes. I think I could afford to chock it up as a loss but however I have put over 120k in 5 years owning it.

About the intercooler pipin needing to tuck the frame more, I know about it, right after I got everything put together I laughed at my self for how the right side looked. The bumper fits decent however. I'm pretty sure Im going to sell the 2.5" piping and get the Streamline Motorsports intercooler piping kit for $150. I dont like all the joints. I see me blowing alum tubes out in traffic. I had a 91 toyota supra turbo and it blew pipin every now and then at 10psi. I also think the 2.5" in will kill my response. also need a good deal on some t clamps.

I hope the filter will be ok, the metal mesh reinforcing the foam on the filter is pretty strong, you can't bend it with your fingers. I was worried about that when I ordered it.

Thanks for your time and reponse.

dk

i'll give you credit for the b18... but that's about it. with the money you spent on that ssautocrap kit, you could have pieced together something that's not going to fall apart on you. but hey, as long as you're happy about it.... i'd still get rid of those halos though.

Nothing. That's HT
Stock oem parts are perfectly fine here.
So are those folding mirrors or did you just push them in for the pics? I see they have changed.
You have to admit that your car has alot of ricer parts: fenders, z3 led side mirrors, halo headlights, lambo doors, shaved moldings, gross rims. We haven't even seen the interior yet.
So don't get too offended.
You would get some respect making this a Rice to Nice project and also if you post some vids of this car.

Interior has all been converted to black with oem black parts. Black LS SE Leather seats front & back. Only thing kinda ricy is the gauges.

The z3 fenders have been on it for a while. I hate them.

The rims are getting a lil old, but there italian rims. I got them for $500 with tires over 5 years ago.

the mirrors are jdm fold aways. I still have them.

Im saving for some light weight wheels, either that or wide body it, air suspension, throw some 20s on it, & Mercedes front end. The *** end inner tail lights and license plate frame are shaved already.

I hope the filter will last, thats for the info.

I also did every bit of this my self, from the mig welding, and every bolt you name it.

My engine management, crome. What about it. I could think of worse ways of managing my fuel.
