Yeah def. smoke in high rpm's is pretty normal for hondas with vtec. Your engine usually burns up more than a usual amount of oil when vtec is activated, which in turn might be the smoke you see out the exhaust. Preludes do it alot, my girl adds oil like every 1000 miles just to compensate for it. I heard the s2000's do it alot to.

yeah.. its a little smokey when im in vtec.. I tuned it to be 12 a/f all the way across from like 4k and up... i add a quart of oil a good bit to... my sohc vtec engine i had before never smoked up top.... but competely differnet engine so... i guess were going turbo boys

@dastinker8 : Yes! you are rite, Radiator was out at that time. as we had to take the xhust manifold off to make the gaskit.
@jacob_kohler : xpected compression is around 8 or high 7s. That means we can boost around 12/15 easily. the peak is around 18psi .

FMU was doing a nice job until yesterday when it was replaced by DSMs 450s and a malpassi 1:1 regulator.
this car has a HKS FMIC
