How much boost are you planning on running? Factory internals?

Re: 89 std hatch b16aturbo project HMT
I thought I'll do a small update today. Here is my ghetto boost gauge setup. I used a compound gauge that I got from Omega engineering. I got one of there cheaper ones. Its 3% accurate for the first and last 10% of movement and 2% accurate for the rest. So with a 15psi guage that is about a +-a third a psi. I used a quick connect fitting to go to 1/4 in tube from the 1/4 NPT on the back of the gauge. Pisco makes the fittings and there pretty cheap. I also just installed the cluster from a 89 civic si.

NICE BUILD!
How much was the gauge? |
Re: 89 std hatch b16a turbo project HMT
The guage was about 25 bucks or so. You can also spec them out to be pretty much any pressure range that you want.

Re: 89 std hatch b16a turbo project HMT
Why not just run a sunpro?
|
Re: 89 std hatch b16a turbo project HMT
because its a higher quality guage in every aspect.
