in the turbo projects section of this site, jeff used a nissan t3 on a white crx with a mini me engine. it's the fifth project on the list. he says the 87' 300xz t3 is smaller than a t25. i have a dsm t25 & i'm selling it cause it's too small for my engine a b16a. i already ordered a used turbo on ebay a z31 nissan 300zx garret t3 60 trim. i was wondering if i got ripped off & was sold a small as hell turbo instead of the bigger t3. the turbo i bought doesn't look the same as the one jeff used in his white crx, but i'm still a little worried cause i don't know much about turbos & i bought it cause the ad said it was a t3

it's just that in the turbo projects on this site, jeff's white crx has a t3 & he said it was a bit smaller than a t25
go see for yourself it's the fifth project from the top in the turbo project section. that threw me off a little.

ok ima be happy with the nissan 300zx t3 then.

rember guys... there is 2 diff 300zx turbo motors... the 80's z31 which used a single turbo w/ low boost, i belive that is the 60 trim and .63 a/r t3 he's talking about.
the z32 90's 300z's used 2 small turbos which each powered their own 1.5L motors (1/2 of 3.0L) those used t25's for most of the run... i belive the later years used the t3's... i don't know what they got in japan-land on them... my guess would be t3's all around... either way the turbos only had to be good for 150 hp... prob good for a bit more as i know z32 guys upt he boost a bit... but they can only go so far.
