7psi running pretty good...

;D lol...hey i just got my turbo and everything hooked up, im on stock fuel management and i couldnt build any boost becuz i couldn't pass 4500...i have the ihi warner turbo from a thunderbird a its on a d15b vtec isnt hooked up...so i put a different ecu programed and put it in...it allowed me to boost to 7000rpmnicely sounding...no misfire or hestations i have no blow off vavle on so i blocked the hole...it run ok but i still wanna tune it right, i ve experimented a bit and now i want it tuned...can i get a chip to replace the one i have now? and i plan on putting a fmu on too.right now when i hit boost the engine light comes on around 6500rpmwhile ive been boosting 7 psi from4500rpm...i get light code 3(3 blinks) im guessin since i dont have my o2 sensor in(to trick it and run rich for now..lol..) :o lemme know..and one more thing if my oil return line is to small/thin would it make dark ugly oil come from the compressor side turbine..like small amount my enine oil stay cleanbtw..?? ???

Let me get this stragiht... you got your turbo setup on, and your driving it around on 7psi with no fuel managment? and you are wondering why you are throwing check engine lights?

1. Do not drive your car without fuel managment or.. this will happen (see below)

http://draglab.com/20002002/blown/bb161.jpg

2. Your check engine is coming on because the stock map sensor is freaking out seeing boost, and throwing a Map sensor fault. This will make the car run like ---- when the DTC is triggered.

and to fix these 2 things...

1. Send your ECU to one of our Chippers (I recommend xenocron) to get your ecu chipped and get setup with a semi decent base map.

2. A set of DSM 450cc injectors and resistor pack.

Until then I dont want to see any more posts about you driving your car at 7psi and dont waste your time with a FMU.

Good luck,
Jeff

You don't need a resistor pack since I'm assuming you drive an ef/crx. As for injectors just stick to DSMs since they're tried and true, plus with the DSMs they're plug and play.
