6psi too much?

6psi too much?
well I have a high compression ls/vtec with ctr's in it right now, and am swaping it into a 88 rex. I was thinking turbo for some extra ponys this summer. You guys think that I could get away with 6 psi on kinda a budget. I have dsm 390's running it right. I am thinking about those and fmic running crome. and 93 oct. Will this be too much pressure for the ring lands, even with a conservitive tune? and are 390's big enough on only 6 psi?

you know as well as i do shane, its all in the tune. Tune conservatively and youll be just fine. Youll have to take out alot of ignition timing to compensate for street gas with your high compression... what is it, 12:1? Colder plugs is a big part of this too

Jeff and the CTR pistons that shouldn't have been there. 8psi, two pulls, 4 dead pistons.
