For a stock B18, i would keep that compressor but make the turbine 0.48 a/r stage 1.
i would also make it water cooled if it isn'T already.
it would make a quick spooling 200-250 WHP turbo.
i could perform that mod for the price of a basic rebuild. resulting turbo would be warrantied 6 months.
so stealthmode, since you have used the same turbo on a d how do you think the .62 housing will do on a built z6? or do you think i should go with the .48 housing? my plan is to push the vitara pistons as far as they can go

i figure it will be a passive traction control. the car just wont make a ---- ton of power in 1st gear but after that it shoudl fly

on a nls i would defiantly use the .63, mush better flow for that engine.. i wouldnt use a .48 on anything larger than a d16

I run a 63/60 on a Y8. I wouldn't go smaller on 1.8L

I have the .63 on my ls/vtec, it is very responsive. I think that the .63's are harder to find, you'll regret getting rid of it if you do.

i would keep the parts. i like having options. as far as i know its just the turbine housing that has to be changed and nothing with the wheels right?

fact is, both turbines will work.
the .48 one will maintain a good top end until around 230-240 whp. on most small 4 cyl engines, it will normally choke top end only when you try to exceed that power.
for a 5-10 psi setup on a stock LS, there'S nothing wrong with the .48 a/r because it does flow enough and spools up quicker. Maybe if you have big plans for a near future, you can stick with the .63, it will work alright for now and leave you more room for improvement when you crank up the boost and/or upgrade the engine.
