63 or 48 turbine housing for LS ?

Default 63 or 48 turbine housing for LS ?

i have a 63 housing on my ford t3, someone local wants to trade for his 48 housing, i havent ran the turbo yet but i was told it will be spooled around 4kish with the 63 on my ls motor, or 3k with the 48 housing, im gona go for only about 8-9 psi

i persoannly like boost a little earlier then 4 as long as it doesnt bitch out before redline, should i trade or what

The 63 owns the 48. It's not THAT big of a deal, but it does. Don't make excuses and be a dipshit. Keep the 63.

i have the same turbo but i want to put it on a z6. i am going tt rods with vitaras and plan to run 15psi daily and 20psi when really racing. i was hoping to see 10psi in 1st gear and then 2nd and up will get 15-20psi. planning for the lag to be traction control. does anyone else think this will work as i plan or should i get a .48 turbine housing?

wow, just wow. I was getting 9-10psi just revving my 2.0L accord motor in neutral with the .63. And i wouldnt want to run 20psi on a T3 lol

im not really sure what you are getting at. i PMed Blaast about it, but for an ls(was my original plan) and after reading what he had to say my plans made sence. so, what exaclty are you getting at?

Please don't ever say wow just wow again. I ran 20psi on a 48/60 d series and it was fun as ***. If turbine housings were car washes, the 48 would be the good, and the 63 would include spot free rinse. Break all yall selves.
