how are you losing top end when you've made the hp downlow and still making power up top. Its not like you've plateau'ed the amount of hp you are making on the dyno. Its still a linear gain in power throughout the rpm.

I know using a t3/t4 will give you a bigger kick in the ass but this "kick" is higher in the rpm range. Some people prefer to get a lil kick in the lower range and feel it throughout, while others just like a big kick in the ass.

Regardless of whether someone goes with a T3 .48/.60 or a T3/T4 or a SC61, for that fact, the amount of power is still limited by the block itself. T3 .48/.60 will spool well and make plenty of ponies on a stock B16 block. 8-12psi on a T3 is still in the "efficient" range of that turbo.

Where do B16's make their peak power? 7600-7800 rpms.
Where do B16's make their peak torque? 7000-7300 rpms.

Makes sense to me using a turbo that works best at higher rpms. It looks like that is exactly where the power band is on the B16.

so basically you all are saying that even though i can get a ss log manifold, that turbo, downpipe, dumptube, all bolts and gaskets needed for 700 shipped it wouldnt be a good idea for my b16? the reason i like it is because i know everything fits. i could get everything mentioned minus the turbo for 550 shipped, do you think i should do that and just find a bigger turbo? what size would you recommend? anyone have one for sale?
