TT proably sells a hand full of those parts on a good month making enough for tank of gas. Also companies have had that product out in Jap land since like 2000. I have gotten 2 b16a swaps with the same concept.

You're smoking crack on the STi. Slow, and poor build quality. One of the worst factory FI "performance" cars ever built. Try to take one past 300 whp and watch the rods snap or the oil pumps ---- or oil dissappears out of the engine at an alarming rate.

I've spent a couple of years building cars out of garage that is less than eight miles as the crow flies from Boxer4Racing. In fact, my statement that the WRX/STi is the worst factory turbo performance car on the market really came out of John Hefner's mouth... John owns the Appalachian Performance dyno where the Boxer4Racing guys tune their cars, and he said it right in front of the Boxer4 guys as a car I had just tuned was being unstrapped so the Boxer4 guys could roll an STi in it's place.
Be real man? If you want real then you best pay attention to every word that comes out of my mouth when I make a technical criticism. Although, that's not needed to know Subarus suck. All a layperson or common enthusiast has to do is notice that the Subaru market drops $1200 on turbos that net 40-60 whp increases - or when they do choose a better turbo it's got some gay as stock turbine housing machined to fit and a modified stock compressor cover so the turbo makes 125 whp LESS than it should if it wasn't faggoted out by a market that insists on direct bolt-on for too-small factory flanges/piping. Or check their oil level every thousand miles on a stock vehicle still under warranty. Or - this is a good one - notice it takes HOURS to change or check spark plugs because the cars are packaged together ---- and not designed to be worked on.

edit: When I was in Cozumel about 3/10 of the cars were newer Bugs, it was awesome.

TurboXS got 260Whp and 290ft/lbs out of a bone stock 2004 STI on a dynapack 4000

APS got 311BHP on a stock sti w/ 94 octane. Even assuming a 20% drivetrain loss that equates to 248WHP stock. By adding an air intake, turbo back exhaust, and front mount they got to 370bhp or 296WHP. That's with the stock mindfuck turbo too...

So if you are going to flaunt your technical superiority you should start posting some actual evidence that the STI motor is going to self destruct when it gains 50whp. I am not an auto technician or engineer by trade but I do know how to do research and nothing that I have seen tells me that you are claims are founded. If you are going to post some ---- up be my guest I love to learn new ----... My friend has a 2.0 wrx with an upgraded turbo that managed to run a 13.3 despite breaking a rear axle off the line. Sorry but those cars may not be perfect but they deserve some respect.
