50mm WG ?
So it's part selection time for the 280z turbo build. It's getting a Holset H1C so right away I need to find a external wastegate. So the cheap bastard that I am you know where I'm going with this. I haven't seen anyone with 50mm HKS style WG. Yeah your thinking 50mm!? But I found a package for 150 buy it now that includes a 50mm WG, HKS SS knockoff bov, and a dial-a-kill manual boost controller. SOunded pretty good to me. Besides opening the WG and checking out the internal to see if I get the right spring like Jon's issue he had of getting the wrong spring. Just get the spring placement right and checking the diaphram(shouldn't have to worry since it's new but it's still some chinese knockoff so you never know) and just tighten everything back down and it's should be good to go.

It's not even a SSAuto but still made in the same factory by Jackie Chan's little nephew for less then a peso a day(in chinese currency that is). Though thanks for the uplifting and reassuing words. Oh sweet 50mm wg you will be mine.

I used one on a supra and it worked great, giving me a solid 12 psi to start with.
yes, it's made by the same company as all the XSP turbos, bovs and wastegates. That brand is ZHY turbo.
Yes their turbos suck but the wastegates and bovs are ok. Quality might not be the same as the original ones but on the wastegates and bovs, that quality difference is not bad enough to cause reliability problem. For the turbos though, it's a whole different story...

Thats what I'm talking bout n166a! Just crack it open and check out the spring and diaphram and then if all good seal her back up. ---- even comes with flanges and everything. Well besides for the BOV but thats no biggie.
