My friend has a fresh automatic b18b block comes with the block and head, the compression was good all across and the gaskets have like 5k miles on them. It doesnt come with an intake manifold, tranny or dist. Should i buy it an pay for all the extras, plus mounts and harness, or should i build another single cam. i wanna push 300whp by february.

B18B's have done 300 on stock internals, $50 is def. a good deal, a run to the junkyard will get you everything else you need.

ok cool, ive never swapped an engine, how do you go about degreasing everything? he has had the block in his garage, with no valve cover, so it has alot of dust on it. the cool part is that he told me to pay him when i have the motor in and running
