Re: 4A-GTE Configuration Questions

The reluctors are held in place on the shaft by tension via a pin, the internals are semi-universal as 75% of Hondas 92-00 have P06 (92-95 D15B7 powered Civic DX) stamped on the reluctors, although the alignment of the flat spot on the shaft + the internal placement of the pickups varies between cars.

Ask Pelegri Didier how he reversed the rotation on a B16, and kept the Honda ECU. This was all covered almost 6 years ago on two different forums but I don't recall as I am a senile bald man. (edit, owned by my porsche loving friend)

Well, unfortunately, Haltech E8 is what I have right now. And I know my question was answered, I just wanted some clarification as far as BOV size. And, Yes I got the point, I know you can push many parts far beyond thier intended power levels with proper tuning. What I meant was there are so many people that try to tell you to follow someone else's project. I'm interesten in writing my own. And I DO take them under consideration for reference.

You totally missed the point. :3

For example, people think stock Honda pistons are weak, add boost and your ring lands are the first to go. They also repeat as a mantra, "it's all in the tune." Well, ---- that, give me a stock part engine that's been properly clearanced for 400+ whp and I can press the laptop buttons to get it there... and from my perspective it's all in the machining.

I fully understand the machining aspect. and I do agree there, proper machining is key to have an engine perform and live.

Except the two F-bodies. No offense, worst years for those cars. Hideous.

I'll try, MR2 and 72 Mustang are here in GA, the others are sitting at my mom's house in NY waiting for me to drag them down here.
