430cc + FMU + AFC Hack
I'm thinking of doing this since i'm leaning out at high rpm on 14psi of boost. Will this help? I'm planning on getting a vortech fmu. Or maybe a 2:1 RRFPR.

Re:430cc + FMU + AFC Hack
Just chip your ECU and run uberdata, you will have fuel control over fuel, timing, rev limits, vtec, etc...
EDIT: The FMU raises your fuel pressure a lot, that's not good. The hack advances your timing a lot, that's not good either. Just do some research on tuning and ECU chipping, then get yourself a wideband and chip burner. |

Amen to that!

Re:430cc + FMU + AFC Hack
Thanks for the advice, I know a standalone is better but right now i just can't cut it. Would the RRFPR help? I just need to fix this problem, them may after a few months i'll get a standalone

Re:430cc + FMU + AFC Hack
uberdata isn't really a stand alone, all you have to pay for is to have your ecu chipped. the software is free. at most you'll have to buy a chip burner, but you can just ask whoever chips it for you to put in a certain .bin that is proven on a set up like yours and you'll be good until you fine tune it. cheaper than an fmu if you already have the appropriate ecu

Re:430cc + FMU + AFC Hack
You should be glad your engine is still alive on 14 psi without decent management. I'd quit at 11 psi if I didn't have a 3 bar map sensor and programmable engine management.

i guess i'm just a bit lucky... i'll stop boosting high right now until i do get a good engine management. ;D

Re:430cc + FMU + AFC Hack
uhmmmm what kinda FMU??? maybe a 1:1...you don't want ore then that...but as these guys said...sell the AFC get ecu chipped buy a burner
