Don't give up that easy.. I hope you didn't expect to make that kind of power on a stock LS. If your going to be building it up, build the head as well, and have it ported/polished. Sure LS/Vtec will achaive you the 400 easier, but a straight LS putting that kind of power out is much more of a challenge (IMO).

im going to be starting up my built ls motor tonight ill let you all know what kinda mumbers i make when i go to the dyno i have everything needed to achive that goal of 400whp

well i just bought a jg engine dynamics pro series head
with super tech springs and retains and valves
crower 402t cams
ported type-r intake manifold made to fit a b18b head

should be here friday

18-19psi on a t3t4 will get you there on stock head....but you need forged internals and a good tune

unless you want a big BOOOOOOOOOM! get pistons and rods

just get some forged pistons/rods, stock sleeves will handle the power for a while. get a huge t3/t67, some 1100cc injectors and just keep cranking up the boost til you reach 400whp, save the dyno sheet, then turn the boost down before you get off the dyno b/c the sleeves won't last long with that much power.
