Yeah, you like the way the crankshaft was mis-drilled for oil passages, so bearings fall out of it on a regular basis? Even when stock and well kept?

Man, you and buk should have mansex, and then die pls.

It's ALL 4.3

Show me one machine shop who has their head out of their *** enough to know it's a problem with the crankshaft.

Dave Williams is the only person I know who'd be willing to give it a poke AND who I'd trust, and he's like christmas.

Awesome! Strange thing is, WNC has more trucks than cars, unlike most metropolitan areas. Would you care to call all my local junkyards? The last three times in the last two years I've had to source a 4.3 I'd either not find one, or find a 180K engine that knocked slightly for $400.

Dave Williams lives in Little Rock, and last I knew he was collecting toasted 4.3 cranks and turning them down a ---- ton to use some wierdass super thick rod bearing he dredged out of the ether. He builds all of Black Car Bruce's GN engines - Bruce Plecan was the main mover and shaker behind the reverse engineering of the GM ECMs, and was the GN that raped the 1000 whp Viper in the infamous video where the GN camera car following them came around the Viper, too - a LARGE number of the Sy/Ty guys engines which are pretty much bottom end failure timebombs, a bunch of FEs, and every last one of Mean Gringo Bob's fucked up twin charged flatheads. He's pretty much a top-tier machinist, bar none, and your machinist is a ***** by comparison. :P
