Default 2g BOV

If I could get a 2g blow off valve for free, do you think it's worth using? I hear they're good for about 13psi. I would only be looking for 10psi, so I am thinking it will be good enough. Just wondering if anyway has any experience with these.

It doesn't matter if it leaks at idle, right? It's just letting in some small amount if unfiltered air?

I guess if it's free it doesn't matter if it breaks/doesn't work

The word in the DSM world is that they start to leak at like 12psi or something in teh double digits. Many stock BOV's are open a little at idle. If it is free go for it. If you have to pay anything though, go for a 1g.

I wouldn't use it but if its free you'd be a fool not to at least grab it. It's not like its gonna take up a lot of garage space or anything.
