200k+ miles with turbo?
just wondering if anyone has turboed their high mileage engine, and it actually survive the chaos! >:D

Re: 200k+ miles with turbo?
Nope. Never. Everyone here just pays somebody to build them a zero mile monster. Homemade is just a joke about poor people that turbo their rides with junkyard parts on high mileage ---- heaps from 15+ years ago. We're all really ballers that have 5 figure checking accounts at least.

Re: 200k+ miles with turbo?
I've put all the trailertrash with 5 figure checking accounts on block. I do not have time to deal with the lesser classes of people.

Re: 200k+ miles with turbo?
The formula goes:
Take 200,000 divide that by [(amount of boost you're going to run in psi) * 10000] i.e. 8psi would be 200,000 / 80000. That comes out to 25. Mutiply that by 1000, we get 25,000 miles. Now do a compression test on your motor and if it checks out go ahead and boost it. |

Don't you have a day job sweeping floors?

Comp/ leak down test will tell you all you need to know.

Re: 200k+ miles with turbo?
lol some of the posts are pretty comical, i agree with the compression and leakdown test, sounds like a plan. I do however like the milage/boost equation lol. I only ask this because theres never any successful high milage builds, most like because they break, and honestly i just dont have the time to rebuild my engine. Thanks for the good stuff, and the laughs ;D
