looks like the compressor wheel is hitting the housing. do you see that light colored spot right to the left of the compressor wheel. id say that turbo is fucked you might be able to rebuild it though

yeah i hope im getting a new turbo.

the battery relocation was the fire... my dad didnt wrap it with electrical tape good enough and it shorted out on the hydrualic clutch line, breaking it, here is the problem and the HOMEMADE clutch line.

you used electrical tape for a battery relocation? not a very good idea. they make connectors and distribution blocks for a reason

Perfect example of doing things absolutely undeniably embarrassingly WRONG. Get rid of the shitty water to air, you only need that if you intend on big powaaa, you need a fmic, add some bling with the tacky *** wing and fenders. Seriously I would have made fun of that car also, the Ls1 will beat you and last longer.... they make alot of power with few bolt ons, but your an import guy and think domestics absolutely suck because they dont have big wings. I will advocate the use of a flux core welder (if that is what you used) but wrap that ---- up, its uglier than ---- and all of us who use flux core know it, or paint it. You absolutely need the heat wrap, if your stuff doesnt fit due to 1/10th of an inch added width you need to go ahead and redo everything because it is all routed wrong. In the end your ---- will melt, intercooler will burst and you will have water in your motor causing water lock, than your fucked. 2k worth of damage for 300 dollars worth of ignorance. And the electrical tape, are you serious? Redo your clutch line with better material and routing, you can rout it away from wiring btw, but in aeronautics you can only have 1 wire and a battery terminal like that where it grounds out, those other smaller wires need to be routed to another ground and a max of 4 per junction. If that ---- is shorting out on the clutch line I must ask why it is routed there, you have a small amount of room to work with, there should be very minimal exposed metal on the wires, and it should not be able to move at all.

y are you so mad? i am 17, i have no moneys, and what wing/bling are you talking about?
oh and btw, take average import, and average pontiac, and dont try and say domestic lasts longer, lmfaooo.

anyway, here is moar. upgraded from shitty chinese turbo to less shitty but still shitty mexican turbo.

at high rpms, there is a big whistle... hoping its normal, there is compresor surge and there was oil leaking from the inlet and it broke taking it off so i gotta get a new one... im thinking a 150hp shot of nos would have been more worth my while at this point.......
