So just to add to this we ran a 3" full exhaust on my car this weekend no resenator just a dual tip racer design muffler. A friend said it will be a lot louder and that i should add a resonator?

I have not run the car yet since im waiting for the tuner to come with the EMS and set it up. But should i slap a resonator in their this week or just leave it alone?

Don't waste the money on a resenator until you absolutly need it.

i woudn't put on on until i get pulled over for it

I got 2.25 no res. no cat. straight thru muffler and that ---- is loud enough for me, i'm in the slow slow process of putting together my turbo ----. so far i only got a k26 turbo, so you say even with 3" pipe the turbo would quiet it down alot, like a considerable amount?

i have 3 inches 1 piece exhaust with just a summit muffler.
it is not too loud at lower rpm but somwhow quiet down at 4K + rpms.
so resonators is going in this week :P
