Default 1st turbo setup questions, I did read the noob pages!

Okay so I read the noob pages time after time and now I got a few parts, only things missing are turbo and BOV.

My engine is a z6 in 2 parts, my block had p29/zc pistons and the CR is way too high to boost.
However, I do have the stock p28 pistons sittin in a box. I don't wanna use aftermarket internals cuz my goal is to get around 185-220 hp. I know the stock internals are capable of that.
I do have 3 sets of LS rods in the garage so i might do that, don't know yet.

Here's my parts list:
91 Hf mani
audi intercooler
DSM blue top jectors
91 HF IRB (injector resistor box)
V-AFC
4.5 x 4.5 3/4 plate ready to be cut
IC pipes and hoses
home made missing link

Okay, I want to run about 8psi and i've seen a few T-25's set at 8psi internally, from what i've read on HMT T-25's spool up fast and are great for low and mid range rpm's but not so much at the high end. I think that sounds perfect for my build up. However I see 14b's for cheap just about everywhere although they do take a lil longer to spool up.

What turbo would you guys recomend for stock z6 internals to get to around 200 hp?
Also, would a 8:1 FMU, stock injectors and check valves be good managenent for 8psi?

I'm not too good with the V-AFC so if i can avoid using it, it would be better.
LMK and Thanx before hand

for a z6 definitly go with the 14b, better yet get a t3 but the 14b will be fine. I know quick spool up sounds great but can be hard to drive in traffic or normal at times when needed.

---- the fmu, chip your ecu and run a basemap, then get tuned. 10 psi will get you right around 200 hp.

the downfall I see on the 14b is all the custom pipping i gotta do. If i can't get ahold of a good T3 i'll get a 14b. Where can I get a good T3 turbo?

BTW isn't the FMU better than just a chip for now untill i get real tunning? I'll get it tunned via hondata but like later-later

you will have to do the same amount of custom piping for either, when it comes to the wastegate you will probably find the 14b easier to work with. The charge pipe coming off the compressor of the 14b can be a little gay but thats usally when you try and use the factory J pipe that ***** you up more than anything if you running a real fmic. A basemap owns a fmu. fmu does ---- all for timing retard but the basemap does

Maybe that's the reason I didn't find any!!!

I live in Irving, close to the Pick-n-Pull off loop 12. I'll stop by on sunday to see If i can get a 12b or T25, dunno about T3's. My z6 is comming out tomorrow and being replaced by a JDM D15b vtec untill I finish building my z6 for boost.

Do you sell these T3's that you speak of?
