Re: 1st gen supra turbo?
CT26, the bigger of the two variants. No known compressor maps, but it's fairly large-ish turbo, would work well on a D16 or LS I think.
EDIT: 7MGTE's are from 3rd Gen (MKIII) Supras, not first ;) |

Re: 1st gen supra turbo?
Lunsford has his gutted + sawzalled to less than that. There's video of him stomping the ---- out of a ~500 whp Procharged C5 on jblmk3.com, from a roll, from a standstill, unstoppable Corvette ownage. And people think MkIII Supras are jokes...

Re: 1st gen supra turbo?
I think the car has run an 11.8 with typical IRS wheelhop. 438 whp 490 wtq, and weighs enough less than aforementioned 3500 lb Vette to destroy it by a significant margin.
Like most platforms, it's the man and not the machine.... although a willing machine is always a bonus.b |

Like most platforms, it's the man and not the machine.... although a willing machine is always a bonus.b 11.8's mean about 120ish mph traps? So going on that the car only weighs about 3200 pounds if you reverse engineer a few HP calculators, not that they're accurate, but it's hard to find 600-700 pounds of stuff to cut out of that chassis. The cars are tanks, pure and simple, I used to troll the MKIII supraforum, pictures of various poles with more damage than cars were common. |
