Hey guys, I have a chance to pick up a 1st gen b16 head from a jdm b16. I have a 98 LS engine and I wanna do ls/vtec. The head comes with everything except a dizzy, but the guy said I could use my LS dizzy except I have to cut 1 ear off the dizzy so it'll fit.

Will this head be okay for my ls/vtec turbo setup? I'm gonna buy this up tomorrow.

Yes,but change the ls oil pump to a gsr.this is a must if you want it to last.since the ls block dosent have the oil squirters gsr and b16's have.

 

I rebuilt my LS this summer and put a b16 oil pump in it already, so that's taken care of. I have a gsr water pump at home, but I never installed it, hopefully I won't have to.

gsr water pump,oil pump, and timming belt. using these 3 things are a must.
