can u crush a 1st gen bov by putting it in a vice people told me u can just wondering if not how do u do it

tap down on the top with a hammer, you just want to "crush" the top in were the spring is to put more pressure on the diaphram. Only go about 1/8 of an inch.

why do people do this? what is the point of crushing the bov? to me it sounds like you're destroying it

does it make it hold boost a lil' bit better? or what?

crushing it is for like 18-20psi....if you are doing like 15 or less i believe the BOV doesnt work nearly as well....but im not sure about that...

Crushing the bov is for making it good for 18-21 punds when I had my eagle talon thats what I did and if your running anything less than 16-17 pounds it will make it very in-effective!!!! several people I know have mad that mistake
