well if i go past 6 it will be more a 1/4 mile machine, run low comp pistons, thicker head gasket. get the compression way down. swingarm extensions, run an intercooler and meth injection.
But for now it will be a daily driver so im stickin ot 5-6 psi.

with low compression pistons you wont need a thicker head gasket. shy away from using a thicker head gasket. it changes the drivetrain dimensions and f^%ks things up.

drivetrain dimensions? What do you mean by that?

it raises your overall height of the cylinder head which changes your timing. the timing chain will be tighter. it makes it harder to get the timing adjusted to factory spec.

i have questions

i am working on a similar project 2001 r6 and plan to use a stock turbo from a wrx....i need to know how you supplied oil to the turbo and what psi your getting in oil pressure

busa4 01-12-2011 01:25 PM

use the oil pressure switch as a feed. you will need to restrict the oil supply to the turbo so use a 0.060" orifice.

megalomaniac0110 01-12-2011 06:14 PM

where on the engine is that located?
