Re:17 year old turbo setup ?

ya forget about injecctors.. hell u dont really even need a normal fuel press regulator, just the FMU and a BTM and ur set.

the high pressures of the FMU might kill a stock pump.. u might want to change that.

MSD BTM would be a good idea. you can control it from inside the car...you should beable to pick one up for around 60 bucks.

Well the MSD6BTM goes for around $300 brand new, but the BTM control without ignition box goes for like $60-$100. A little less expensive.

Re:17 year old turbo setup ?

You dont really need a full MSD ignition until you reach like 10-12+ psi or so. Just grab a btm unit.

Re:17 year old turbo setup ?

true but the BTM doesn't work without an MSD ignition box. The one they sell seperately is an add on to an existing MSD system. i've been there. Get the MSD 6BTM if you don't already have a MSD 6A or such.

I was wondering if anybody knows if I could use the controller for a MSD 5 or does it have to be a 6 or better.By the way what exactly does BTM mean? Don't mean to sound stupid ,just didn't know they made something like that.
