Default 16g on d series?

I asked this question on the resource, but didn't get much feed back. I just need to know if anyone has a good estimate as to what rpm a 16g would attain full boost on a d series motor (d16). Thanks.

Unfortunately, I am not quite sure. It is off of a new neon srt-4 and I can get it for approx. $300 with zero miles, so I am wondering if it is worth it.

better check it close and make sure it has a standard turbo inlet as far as I know they were making the exhaust manifold and the exhaust housing on the turbo 1 piece. if it is standard that is a great price.

They are making them one piece... I forgot to mention that. In my other post on the resource I also asked if it was feasible to chop off the exhaust manifold and weld a new flange to it.

Omg, are you serious? its 1 piece? forget that, I would try to find another turbo, especially for 300 bucks, I dont care if its new. You will end up spending more time fabing it to work. Especially if you are going to be doing cast welding/fabrication.

Are they still even using mitsu turbos on the new dodges? I dont think the newer style 16g turbos can fit a old *** Td05h 16g housing..

I'll buy it from you or trade you a .48 ar t-3 rebuilt plus some cash - Mine is done but I have a friend with a neon that would be interested.
