Re:14B vrs. T-25
on a d-series, power doesnt drop off with a t25. if you want a very fast spooling turbo that can hold moderate boost levels, the t25 is a very nice choice. i personally dont understand why people are so in love with huge turbos. instead of making your power curve smoother and broader, it seems like people are wanting something more like a vtec multiplier. i guess its preference
if you switch from a t25 to a 14b, i think you need to change the oil feed... but im pretty unsure of that. you would also need to change the piping going from the compressor to the ic, as they have different outlets

Yeah I'm just pieceing a kit togeather now so its not like I would have to change much. I may as well do the t-25 though. It seems to me as if their a little less available but thats ok. I'm only gonna do 8psi on a stock d16 so big power has never been the goal so turbo size isn't a huge concern to me. I'll just keep on the lookout for a deal on a t-25. Or just go steal the one from the ricer elicpse that goes racing by my dorm every night.

either turbo would work good on a stock internal'd d series. the oil and coolant lines should work good on either turbo as they both use banjo bolts for connections. you may have to bend the lines slightly if anything.
and who says the 14b can't make good power? i've seen it make over 300whp and run the 1/4 mile as fast as 11.7 seconds.... i wouldn't call that exactly slow.

Re:14B vrs. T-25
I've try them both. First the t25, after 14b on my b18b. The T25 spool soooo fast. On the Highway, at 60mph, the boost is instant like -12, bang, 6psi(my t25 was set at 6psi). Full boost at 2200rpm...a lot of tire spinning at the spot light. On a rainy day...omg! But at the drag strip, after 5500rpm the power go down.
14b: Slower spool, like 3500-3800(I dont really check it). On the highway, in 5gear you need to go to 120 to begin to feel the rush. I dont feel any lost of power at rpm.
Verdict: On the street the t25 is a beast. The 14b is better for maximum power(versus the t25, we are not talking about t3/t4 here...). If I would redo it...hmmm very hard question...if you like to downshift and like rev...14b..if you like low-end torque..t-25.

Re:14B vrs. T-25
I do like to rev, but quick street power is really the most important to me. T-25 it is. And also I think the Oil outlet for the t-25 and 14b might be different. From what i can tell from some reserch i've done one has a 44mm bolt spacing and the other has a 38mm. I didn't quite understand the thing though so i might be wrong
