Default 14b Turbo Question

My waistegate on my 14b doesn't look like it is 100% closed, is that a bad thing, or will that mess anything up at all? THe person I got it from I guess had a ---- load of washers on the arm to keep it from boosting to high on his motor, but I took the washers off. Is the gate suppose to be easy to open and close or a little on the tougher side? Is there anything that I can spray to ease it up if it is suppose to be easy?

** My wheels spins very freely as if it came right out of the box**

talking about the flap? In order to get boost it needs to be able to seal. so yeah, it'll be a problem. all the gates ive come across open and close with hardly any resistance.

I think he's talking about the wastegate actuator and not the flap. Either way I think that will be a problem.

Mine didnt seal up all the way so I bent the rod a little bit up so it held the flapper tighter on it. I read 8psi and havent spiked.
