The ball bearing turbo's are the ones you can do withouth the restrictor on. If you don't use a restrictor you are going to push oil through your seals because they aren't meant to hold that kind of pressure. I tore up a super60 by not running a restrictor. The shaft play ended up being about an inch after I pulled i9t off and the cold side turbine was a different trim afterwards haha.

14b's are a normal sleeve journal bearing, but are supposed to have 360* thrust bearings.

cancel the small/cheap things out to find the problem by the way i have one on my 14b and it helped |
