Default 14b Coolant Banjo Bolts HELP ASAP

Well workin on getting the turbo together and ordered a whole mess of ---- from mitsu that came today, to realize the coolant banjo bolts are bigger than the oil inlet bolt. But mitsu had NONE of the coolant banjo bolts on their print out. So is there anything I can use to improvise? Anyone know of a barb style that would work? Thanks, I'm really trying to get this finished.

1/4 pipe thread fits in them well.

those are 1/4 to 5/16 brass hose fittings i got from my work (Advance Auto Parts) any local parts store should carry them.

they aren't npt theads they are metric. earls makes banjo bolts/fittings. my local napa also can get something similar as well. take your turbo to home depot or any other hardware store to test fit bolts so you get the correct thread size. i believe the oil is 10x1.25 and the coolant is 12x1.25, but check it by test threading bolts in the holes. they should not bind at all when threading in.

the coolant fittings don't surpass the temperature capabilities of JB Weld, something to take into consideration if you just want to use some barbed fittings

with the 1/4" pipe thread some teflon tape will do the trick, they get tight, very tight.

That fitting worked fine. Just used lots of teflon thread sealant.

Hi, I tried the 5/16" IF (Inverted Flare) to 5/16" Hose fitting from Pep Boys. The 5/16" IF looked a bit smaller than the 1/4" NPT, yet still bigger than the 12mm hole. However, I tried really hard to thread the sucker in and it just wouldn't go in. How did you guys do it if the 1/4" NPT is even bigger? Did you guys run a die around the brass fitting?

If you're not in too much of a hurry you can get OEM water banjos from Road Race Engineering. They usually ship pretty quick.
