yeah the viper started falling behind and then hit his brakes... the ebay turbo, ive actually been surprised how long its been holding up, its gone through about 30 runs with tonight... it is starting to leak oil though and the boost starts falling off up top... btw what car do you run there??

What's the suspension set up like?

Fab some homemade limiters in the rear, and a traction bar for the front suspension. You'll be dipset after that.

Yea your 60' is top notch but the traction bars really help when the car is fully loaded at the top end, think like it's stopping the front end from lifting up (it isn't really that much) by keeping the front suspension from pulling up too far. The same for the limiters in the rear, they negate the fulcrum effect somewhat by putting a solid stopper at a much shorter point in the suspension travel.

You could also try running with the bumper off/ underpanning the car to cut down lift. That should pick up your top speed slightly, if that setups still got some in her that is.

Im gonna try the no rear bumper and maybe a traction bar and see what happens... i was also thinking about putting a gsr tranny on it, what do you guys think of that?? or some other b-series tranny..

What tranny is on it now?

I'd look up the ratios and final drive to see the difference, I mean if you have to make an extra shift that's time lost on average, unless the shorter gears made up for it. With all the torque from that motor I'd keep the gears longer and just aim for more power, I'm sure traction would be a much bigger problem with a shorter ratio transmission.
